Jim Heath, a political reporter for WBNS-TV, the CBS affiliate in Columbus, Ohio, actually spoke out in opposition to a plan coordinated by Republicans in swing states with Republican-gerrymandered congressional districts, such as Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, to allocate most of those states' electoral votes based on the presidential popular vote winner in each congressional district.
